I was thrilled to win the Professional Speakers Australia (PSA) Keynote Speaker of the Year recently! Below is the announcement from the PSA.
“This year, determining our Keynote Presenter Award for Excellence was again a challenge. In a year when our very industry was under threat, we proved our value over and over again, with creativity, innovation and genuine professionalism. Our nominees were a group of extraordinary achievers, every one of whom earned their place in this field. Our winner is outstanding.
Their speaking business has been in healthy growth mode for the last 10 years, built on a specific and valuable expert niche and very strong credibility. The Covid19 lockdown saw a 100% cancellation of forward bookings. Undeterred, a well-designed strategic response led to an initial struggle that evolved into a superb surge in demand beyond previous successes. The numbers are great – and are continuing to grow.
Our winner proved their value internationally, both in person and virtually, including the elite Top Tables of the MDRT and are booked well ahead for large events in the US and Europe. They covered a diverse range of audiences, delivering useful and practical content and breaking the boundaries of their thinking by using humour as a tool. Engagement is a key and interactivity is a given. She has now shared the platform with some of the biggest names on the planet.
She (yes, she) has remained a continual student in her topic, leading to an extensive media presence on national television, radio and print media. A very worthy recipient indeed.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the 2021 Keynote Presenter Award for Excellence goes to Dr Louise Mahler CPS. This award automatically enrols Dr Louise Mahler CSP in the PSA Hall of Fame.”
